This Weekend
We are so excited to now offer both online and in-person Sunday services! We welcome you to join us in the environment that you are most comfortable. We are committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety. To make that possible, our weekend service have been redesigned to create an environment that allows for physical distancing. This includes significantly reduced capacity and adjusted service times, as well as, still offering our services online.
Additionally, we’re excited to open The Refuge City Children’s Ministry at our campus locations. Like our redesigned weekend service, we’re taking additional steps to keep our Children’s environments safe and fun for your family!
Service Times
Refuge City Church meets every week on Sundays in the NE Cedar Rapids area. We can’t wait to meet you online or at one of our NE Locations!

Wednesday Evening

What Can I Expect?
In total, a Refuge City Church service is about 60 to 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the Refuge City Church Worship Team leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and Jesus-filled message.

Sundays at Refuge City Church are exciting, fun, and engaging. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Wednesday we are excited, casual, and relaxed. We absolutely love our church and we show it! Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week and at Refuge City Church, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our children’s program the first time that you visit.
You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for Refuge City Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered every Sunday morning service for kids grades Pre-K through Grade 6
Our nursery for ages infant through age 3, is offered every regularly scheduled service. We also have a detailed check-in process for your babies and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.

No need to RSVP for your first time here at First Church, but if you would like to get in touch and plan your first visit we would love to meet you upon arrival in our foyer area! Again we want to help make your first experience at First Church a great one!
